Our Founder
Kevin Jones established WalkaboutWithin with the vision and mission to bring a high touch service and deep level of expertise to his clients that is uncommon in today's world of human capital consulting. Kevin combines his business acumen gained as a Chartered Accountant and business leader, his deep expertize in Human Capital & Talent Management and his passion for personal development, leadership and growth, to provide a unique approach to organizational, team and individual transformation.
Prior to founding WalkaboutWithin, Kevin worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 20 years and brings in-depth expertise of a broad range of business, human capital, finance and IT best practices, processes and technologies gained from servicing clients across the globe. After twelve years in client facing roles and two overseas tours, Kevin took on various internal leadership roles including serving as the Chief Learning Officer for PwC’s Global Advisory practice and as a Global Transformation Leader responsible for multiple complex global Human Capital, Talent and Learning transformation initiatives covering the full hire-to-retire cycle.
As a proven industry expert in strategic human capital transformation, Kevin now works directly with clients to provide hands-on leadership and coaching as they transform their human capital organizations, processes and technology. Kevin strives to provide a holistic service, ensuring successful and timely execution on the organization's strategic vision and full benefit realization for the organization and their investors, customers, employees and business partners. Kevin’s hands-on style enables him to stand in the shoes of his clients and provide actionable insights and recommendations. Kevin coaches his client leaders and their teams, supporting their professional growth as they plan, implement and operationalize their human capital and talent strategy. Kevin passionately believes in the value of measuring results and is an industry expert in human capital analytics. He is a strong promoter of the role of Human Capital as a member of the 'C-Suite' and passionately promotes his belief that people are an organization's best asset.
Leveraging his own career transitions and life experience, Kevin developed our proprietary WalkaboutWithin transformation methodology for coaching and mentoring our clients through their own transitions. Kevin is an experienced coach who works co-actively with Executives, Entrepreneurs, Leaders of the future and Individuals dealing with career and life transitions. Kevin has over 3,000 hours of coaching and mentoring experience and is a member of the International Coach Federation with proven success at helping individuals transform and organizations develop their talent on a multi-cultural and global level.
Kevin is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), qualified Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with a Bachelor Degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of Reading, UK.
In addition to his role as Managing Partner for WalkaboutWithin, Kevin is the Chief Operating Officer of McBassi & Company (www.mcbassi.com) and serves as Director of Research for the Center for Talent Reporting, a not-for-profit organization (www.centerfortalentreporting.org).
